Dental Attachments

Cendres+Métaux is a global benchmark in the field of precision attachment systems for removable prostheses on natural teeth and on implants.
Manufactured in Switzerland, the brand’s attachments are recognised for their precision, reliability and longevity.
They ensure excellent prosthesis retention while providing a high level of aesthetics and patient comfort.
The range comprises numerous solutions to address a wide variety of clinical situations:

  • Ball attachments: Dalbo® PLUS, regarded as the gold standard for attachments on 2.25 mm diameter ball abutments. A worldwide benchmark.
  • Root attachments: Dalbo®-Rotex
  • Slide and bar systems

The various systems offer adjustable retention levels, interchangeable components and simplified maintenance, helping to extend the service life of prosthetic restorations.

The Dalbo® PLUS is the premium ball attachment from Cendres+Métaux, designed to deliver precise, durable and fully adjustable retention. Intended for removable prostheses on teeth or on implants, it combines patient comfort, straightforward maintenance and outstanding clinical reliability.

Key strengths:
  • Adjustable retention: thanks to its screw-in lamellar insert, the retention force can be adjusted incrementally, from light to very firm, according to the patient’s needs.
  • Simplified maintenance: the retentive inserts are easy to replace without remaking the prosthesis, extending its service life and reducing the number of interventions.
  • High clinical tolerance: the system compensates for divergences between abutments (up to 16° on teeth and up to 40° on implants), making it suitable for a wide range of clinical situations.
  • Swiss reliability: manufactured from high-quality materials, the Dalbo® PLUS guarantees excellent wear resistance and consistent retention over time.
  • Elliptic version available: it provides improved retention within the prosthetic resin and is particularly recommended for implant-supported restorations.
  • Tuning inserts: the tuning insert is used on a worn ball abutment, allowing the practitioner to keep the worn abutment in place and save the prosthesis.
In one sentence:
Dalbo® PLUS is the benchmark solution for practitioners looking for a reliable, adaptable and customisable ball attachment, offering an optimal balance between comfort, retention and ease of maintenance.
Slide attachments are precision attachments consisting of a male part fixed to an abutment tooth or crown and a female part integrated into the removable prosthesis. They provide discreet retention with no visible clasps, considerably enhancing the aesthetics of the treatment. Their main advantages are:
  • excellent prosthesis stability during chewing;
  • no visible clasps, for an optimal aesthetic result;
  • easy insertion and removal by the patient;
  • balanced distribution of stresses across the abutment teeth;
  • enhanced comfort thanks to precise, long-lasting retention.
The range includes the Mini-SG®, M-SG® Star, Conex, Mini-Conex, SG, Tecnoroach, Mini-Dalbo® and CM-Box systems, available with several friction levels so retention can be matched to clinical requirements.
Bar systems are designed to stabilise removable prostheses supported by several teeth or implants. A bar connects several abutments and receives a matrix integrated into the prosthesis, thereby ensuring excellent distribution of masticatory forces and optimal stability. Depending on the clinical indication, several geometries are available:
  • round bars;
  • oval bars;
  • parallel-walled bars.
Round and oval bars allow slight functional rotation of the prosthesis, improving comfort and limiting stress on the abutments. Parallel bars provide maximum stability when several implants or supporting teeth are present. The main benefits are:
  • excellent prosthesis stability;
  • even distribution of occlusal loads;
  • protection of the supporting teeth or implants;
  • longer service life of the restoration;
  • easier maintenance and replacement of the friction components.
The systems available include the Dolder® System, Ackermann Bar and SFI-Bar, along with their various clips, riders and retention sleeves, which allow the retention force to be adjusted to the patient’s needs.
